Assisting the Poor in Rattanakiri Province

On the occasion of Chol Chnam Thmay, the New Year festival in traditional calendar of Khmer people, also the between-crop period when Khmer people are out of paddy grains of the previous crop and they have to wait until May to be likely to have the new paddy. During 12th and 13th April, the team of employees of HAGL Group held a program to support the poor and solitary households living in the villages around CRD, Heng Brother and Hoang Anh Oyadav projects in Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia. The team visited and gave gifts to 349 households (50kgs of rice and 1 case of instant noodle for each household). Mr. So Khum said: “With the support of the company, our hearts are warmed and we do not have to work so hard to earn our living and suffer the poverty like we did before”…
