Eye surgery for people of Cambodia at 5th stage

Following the "Program for community development", from May 22 to May 25, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group has conducted free eye surgery program at 5 stage for people of various communities in Rattanakiri province, Cambodia. 12 patients suffering from blurred vision and relatives welcomed by company representatives in remote villages and took them to Medical University – Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hospital in Gia Lai for surgery.

The surgery done successfully, the patient after discharge can see normally. Medical University – Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hospital followed pathways, complied with aseptic rules. Patients specifically instructed after returning and following advice from doctors and continue to be cared and disease prevention later. In addition, HAGL also gave the patient a gift as a souvenir. All patients and their families are very excited, when they welcomed, treated, arranged with accommodation carefully by Company.

Preliminarily after 5 stages of eye surgery performed for 2 years from 2013 to 2014, HAGL has brought light to 92 people  in remote area, difficult areas of Laos in total 112 cases of blurred vision due to cataracts .
