Following the inauguration of the Attapeu International Airport, from 30 May to 1 June 2015, HAGL arranged a three-day field trip of the Group’s projects in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam for over 60 investors, representatives from investment funds, stock companies and press agencies, etc.
In Attapeu, Laos, HAGL CEO Vo Truong Son together with other Group leaders directly guided the visitors around the rubber and sugarcane plantations, and cattle farms. The investors witnessed with their own eyes the process of sugar and latex production at the plants located right in the material areas, Vietnamese and Laotian staff and workers performing their mechanized jobs to produce high quality products.
The group spent the 31st of May visiting the oil palm project in Kon Mum District, Rattanakiri Province. The steps including seedling,  cultivating, nurturing, harvesting and processing all conform with a closed cycle enabling maximal cost saving and peak efficiency while protecting the ecological and living environment of the local people. For the purpose of processing, the Group is setting up a factory with a capacity of 45 tons of fresh fruits/hour, accounting for 270,000 tons of fresh fruits/year.
The 1st of June witnessed the investors touring Australian cattle farms in Kon Thut and Dak Gia, Gia Lai Province. HAGL has invested in modern farm buildings up to the accepted standards. The immense grasslands covering thousands of hectares in the locality of the cattle farms and the fodder from corn, sugarcane, palm oil plantations support the cattle’s exponential growth. The cattle are raised and nurtured up to international standards under the supervision of Australian and Israeli experts: each head carries an ear ID chip and undergoes a monthly health check. The individual data of health and weight are recorded on computer. The investors finished the day with a visit to HAGL Arsenal JMG Football Academy as well as Nultifood Dairy Factory, which is under installation and completion.
After the three-day tour, the press and investors had an informal talk with HAGL CEO Vo Truong Son, from which they gain some insight into the vision, strategy, business orientation, and practical social programs that the Group has done and will do for the society, communities and for the environment.
